Who is this service for?

The Quote Engine is for Windows Joiners in need for an efficient quoting tool. Quoting is time-consuming, and winning a homeowner project typically requires many revisions. With the Quote Engine it only takes a few minutes to create quotes and revisions.

The Website Simulator will help you generate Leads on your own website. If you also use the Quote Engine you can convert these customer simulations into quotes. Otherwise just plug the homeowner details into your existing quoting system.

Where should I start?

Contact us, and we will set up a demo site that you can play with. In 5mn you can create a fictitious quote.

The next step is to set up an account with your company's actual cost parameters. This set up is free of charge.

What types of jobs can I use Quoteguy for?

You can create quotes that include a mix of materials: Aluminium, PVC, Wood.

You can also mix different job types: New window, Sash replacement, Glass replacement.

Do I have to install software?

No. The Quoteguy Engine and the Website Simulator are online services. You access them from a laptop or tablet. There you capture all the measurements. You can do this on the customer's site provided you have a mobile connection.

How does Quoteguy calculate prices?

You provide us with your list of materials (profiles, glasses, hardware), options and their unit cost. Based on the window model geometry we calculate the cost of each window.

You can immediately download a PDF quote that you can show the homeowner on site.

How much does the Quoteguy service cost?

The service is pay-as-you-go. You are charged per customer Simulation or Quote created, in proportion to their number of windows.

There is no licensing cost, no set-up cost, no subscription fee, no minimum commitment.

I need to quote for a non-standard window model that is not in your catalogue

Contact us and we will add the new model to your catalogue, at no cost. We can make this happen within 24 hours

Can I customize the look-and-feel of the Website Simulator?

Yes, the colours and font can be customized to harmonize with your website.

Pricing

This price of a Lead (if you use the Website Simulator) or of a quote (if you use the Quote Engine) is NZD 1 per window.

You can generate as many revisions to a quote as you wish, at no extra charge.

The set-up of the Website Simulator or of the Quote Engine (configuring the service with your specific materials and cost parameters) is free of charge.

Invoicing

You will be invoiced quarterly. Invoices will be sent by email.

The terms of payment are 15 calendar days. Past 15 days you will receive a reminder by email.

Should an invoice remain unpaid, Quoteguy will suspend your access to the service.

Payment by direct credit to our New Zealand bank account.

Privacy

When you subscribe to a Quoteguy service, you will provide Quoteguy with the information required to configure the service ("customer data"), including contact details, materials used and standard costs, etc.

Quoteguy will only use customer data for the purpose of providing the services to the Customer.

Quoteguy will not share any customer data with third parties, except as may be required by law.

Quoteguy tracks Customers' interactions with its website and emails for the sole purpose of improving its services.

Quoteguy will not share personally identifiable information with third parties for their promotional purposes.
